Sincere thanks to Sharon of the Kindred Footprints Blog for awarding the Acadian & French Canadian Ancestral Home Blog the Kreativ Blogger Award. Once received, the rules of for the award state that I must share seven things about myself that you probably don't know and then pass the reward on to 7 more Kreativ Bloggers. So here goes...
My most favorite dish is seafood - must be the New Englander in me and that we are not far from the ocean. I used to also enjoy deep sea fishing.
I wish I could travel the world – I have visited Japan, France and England and much of the U.S. and Canada.
I worked as a lay missionary in Western Canada.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, I have lived in Pennsylvania, Texas, eastern and western Canada but it was good to come "home".
My work as a human resources manager, teacher and chaplain has been very rewarding.
I love music and love to sing; I used to play the guitar and led a folk group. My love of music is how my husband and I met. He is a musician and owned a music store and studios.
I love creativity and wish I could be more creative than I am but I also enjoy the creativity of others.
I have always wished I could write poetry.
The Acadian Ancestral Home now passes the Kreativ Blogger award on to the following bloggers who are most deserving of this and of many other awards.
A Canadian Family - Evelyn Theriault
Family Trees May Contain Nuts - Lori E
Saturday's Child - JamaGenie
Tootsie Time - "Tootsie"/Glenda
