Raquel/Rachel Del Castillo was my great aunt.
She married my grandmother's brother Napoléon Joseph Dumais. My mother spoke often of her and she thought she was the most stylish woman she had ever known. She just loved her for the wonderful person she was.
Born in Cuba, it seems she often wore the gold chain and medallion that is around her neck in this photo - it was her "bling".

Hi Lucie. Raquel Del Castillo was my grandma. After Napoleon died, as you know, she married my grandfather Cristóbal Rodriguez. I'm named after my other grandma, Concepcion (Conchita) which I didn't meet either. I'm so glad to be getting involved in genealogy now. Thanks for all your research.
