The Rose Blogger Award

Last year The Rose Blogger Award was created in memory of my mother Rosanna Levesque LeBlanc.  My mother had a great love of family so this award is given to those bloggers who keep the memory of their ancestors alive.

Since it is a rather new, not many bloggers have received it yet so I decided Christmas is a good time to share the award.

This week the award went to:

Heather Wilkinson Rojo - Nutfield Genealogy
Marian Pierre-Louis - Roots and Rambles
Cynthia Shenette - Heritage Zen
Bill West - West in New England
Barbara Poole - Life From The Roots

Previous recipients:

Evelyn Theriault - A Canadian Family
Liz Hall Morgan - My Big Fat Cajun/Irish/ Scottish/English/German/ French/Southern Family Blog

Please take a moment to visit all of these great blogs.  Thank you.

Thank you again Lucie! And thank you for posting the list of the other recipients. I read and enjoy the blogs of all of this week's recipients, and added the two previous recipients to my reading list.

I was happy to reconignize your blog with The Rose Blogger Award Heather.

Yes, there is a New England theme running. I've realized recently how good the New England blogs are and they are often not recognized so this is a small way of doing that. My mother would have loved this! ;o)
